The company was established in 1907 accordance with special decree by the name of (Qabbari Lands Company), in 1965 5 companies ( Egyptian Works Company for Development and Agricultural Lands, Egyptian Real Estate Joint-Stock Company, Alexandria Real Estate Company, Lower Egypt Real Estate Company, Real Estate Joint-Stock Company for Inspection- El-Seyouf ) merged to create an real estate company under the name united housing for development subject to the provisions of law No 159 of 1981 and United Company for Housing and Development was privatized in 1996.
The company is one of the leading companies in the field of real estate development in Alexandria. It has abundant record of its achievements over 113 years during which it developed and sold approximately 10 million square meters in Alexandria and developed approximately 250,000 square meters.
The company’s Land Bank is approximately 107 feddans located in El-Seyouf Area, Alexandria, which is an area that witnesses high density of population and development rate.
The company owns several historical buildings in Strategic locations in the most prestigious areas in down town Alexandria, such as Saad Zaghloul Street, Tariq Al Horriya Road and Al-Manshiya Square such as Tahrir Street, Salah Salem Street and Ahmed Orabi Street.
